The Cause Collective sees social change as making a significant difference in the lives of people who are most in need by looking at the patterns, causes and effects of long-term problems.

Communications is a crucial building block that contributes to The Cause Collective’s social change goals through storytelling. This allows us to amplify the voice of the community by capturing and sharing their insights and lived experiences to influence positive change through people centric storytelling, building community, community advocacy and Indigenous Frameworks.

Storytelling allows TCC to be a catalyst of change to flip the script on the negative narrative in South Auckland by modifying and manifesting this tool to empower its communities. This helps to bring about change in attitudes, behaviour and knowledge to help transform communities. We see communications for social change as a way of empowering, uplifting and transforming.
