Honesty, Respect, Compassion,
Courage and Service
What led you to working at The Cause Collective?
You mean who led me here? God 😊.
My heart for people and more specifically the community of Te Wirihana. If there was any opportunity to give back to the village that I was raised in, it would be here at The Cause Collective.
Who inspires you and why?
Can I say Jesus? Lol. Great example of ‘love’. He endured the testings of the enemy and still showcased ‘love’ in all that He had said and done.
What is your current role?
What projects are you currently working on and what impact do they have on the community?
One Love Te Wirihana,
Do Good Feel Good,
Young Pacific Changemakers.
All these initiatives focus on our youth.
What is your vision for health and wellbeing in South Auckland?
I guess it’s to see people equipped with the right tools to walk in their purpose and really be grounded in a firm foundation so that when trials arise, they have a sense of how to navigate these seasons.
What is one funny/quirky/interesting thing that no-one knows about you?
If ever I had one last meal, I’d have a full box of crunchy, sweet persimmons 😌
Who is your favourite Superhero and why?
Other than Jesus, my mum – her endurance and the way she’s shown love and compassion even to strangers has been inspiring. Shot mum!
What is your superpower?
My laugh. Hahahahahahahaha. I even got an award in high school for Spongebob’s contagious laugh 😂 hooooi!
